Diaphragm Accumulator Charging Instructions

diaphrfagm accumulator charging guide, rGA-200-X
  1. Connect one end of the charging hose to the charging valve, the other end to the gas cylinder (standard CGA 580 connection provided). Regulator (not provided) is suggested for high pressure charging.
  1. Use Hex Key Wrench (6mm) to slightly loosen the sealing screw on the top of the accumulator. (Do NOT take the screw off) Fig.1

  2. Connect the gas valve bottom socket to the accumulator top charging port using the M28X1.5 standard connection. Tighten the socket by hand only (DO NOT use tools to overtighten). Fig.2

  3. Check the bleed plug  make sure it should be tight.

  4. Hold the top of the accumulator and turn the gas valve knob clockwise all the way first, then turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen the screw. Fig.3
  1. Open the gas cylinder knob and regulator knob to charge the accumulator. (Charge very slowly if it’s connected to the gas cylinder directly without a regulator. Fast charging may cause damage or injury)

  2. Watch the pressure gauge reading on the valve, turn the gas valve knob clockwise all the way to close the sealing screw and stop the charging. Fig.4

  3. Close the regulator or the gas cylinder knob.

  4. Loosen the bleed plug on the gas valve to release the pressure left inside. Fig.5

  5. Turn the gas valve know counterclockwise to remove it from the accumulator. Fig.6

  6. Use Hex Key Wrench (6mm) to check and make sure the top sealing screw is tight. Fig.1 (Caution: High pressure charged, do not open the sealing screw)
