Pulsation Dampener Installation & Charging Guide
ByReasontek Corporation
Typically, pulsation dampener should be installed right after the pump outlet. When the pump starts, outlet pressure vibrations are absorbed by the pulsation dampener and the system pressure becomes smoother, protecting the parts in the pipeline.
The pulsation dampener is normally charged to 70-90% of the system maximum pressure to have the best performance.
